Teknos has agreed to buy Feidal Coatings’ industrial coatings business. The transaction is expected to be closed by mid-June. Feidal Coatings is a private company that produces paints and coatings for industrial and architecural use. The industrial business had net sales of €18 million and employs 80 people. The acquisition includes Feidal GmbH & Co. KG in Brüggen, Germany and the industrial business of Feidal Polska SP.z.o.o. in Poland. At the site in Brüggen, the company will continue producing industrial coatings for metal. Teknos already operates a site in Germany in Fulda. The acquisition is an important addition to Teknos’ existing industrial coatings business and will further strengthen the company’s position in this segment.
